Class of 2010 Computer Requirements
All undergraduate students in the Pamplin College of Business are expected to have a laptop or tablet pc. Tablets are recommended as they have capabilities beyond a normal laptop and offer excellent in-class notetaking and searching utilities. For more information on Tablets, please visit Microsoft.

- Windows XP Professional or Tablet PC Operating System
- Required Student Software Bundles
- Pentium M 2.00 Ghz+ single or 1.83 Ghz+ dual core processor or AMD equivalent
- Memory - 1GB Ram
- 80 GB Hard Drive
- 64MB (discrete) or 128 MB (shared) Video Adapter Card
- CD-RW/DVD
- 802.11b or 802.11g Wireless NIC
- 10BaseT Ethernet Card
- 256M USB Memory
- Inkjet or Laser Printer
- Warranty - 3 years parts and labor on-site (damage protection policy strongly recommended)
If you are bringing a computer you already own, it should meet the requirements for the Class of 2009. If you choose to bring an older computer you should expect to purchase a new one before you graduate. Purchase of both the "Pamplin Business Student Bundle" and the "Microsoft Campus Agreement Software Bundle" will still be required.
