All undergraduate students in the Pamplin College of Business are expected to have a laptop or tablet pc. Students are discouraged from purchasing Intel Macs as we require Windows and Office 2007. (More Mac Info) Tablet pcs are acceptable as they have capabilities beyond a normal laptop and offer excellent in-class notetaking and searching utilities. If you bring a computer you already own, it should meet the requirements for the Class of 2012. If you choose to bring a computer you already own, you should expect to purchase a new one before you graduate. Purchase of both the "Pamplin Business Student Bundle" and the "Microsoft Campus Agreement Software Bundle" will still be required.
