Among the top for ethics and strategy

In Business Week’s 2009 undergraduate business school rankings, Pamplin ranks No. 4 for ethics and No. 14 for corporate strategy. The magazine surveyed business majors at more than 100 schools about how well their schools teach standard academic specialties. Students were asked to rank their program on a scale of 1 to 5 for each of a dozen specialties.

In U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges 2010” issue, the college is ranked No. 42 overall, along with five other schools, and No. 24 among undergraduate business programs at public universities. Pamplin’s overall ranking keeps it among the top 10 percent of the 524 U.S. business schools with undergraduate programs accredited by AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The rankings are solely based on a survey of deans and senior faculty at schools accredited by the association.
