MBA Programs

The Virginia Tech Pamplin College of Business has designed four masters of business administration programs to meet the needs of professionals from various educational, professional, and geographic backgrounds.  We invite you to learn more about our MBA programs to find the one that best meets your needs.

Full-time MBA Program

The two-year full-time MBA program at the Blacksburg campus is geared towards individual contributors and junior managers with strong potential for advancement and demonstrated leadership acumen.  Classes meet Monday through Thursday over two years or four academic semesters.

Professional MBA Program

The PMBA program is a cohort based program targeted towards mid-Level managers, professionals and entrepreneurs with potential for significant advancement or a need for additional management training. This two-year program meets one weekend a month and alternates between our Roanoke and Richmond campuses.

Executive MBA Program

The EMBA program is designed for executives and senior-level managers or individual contributors who are considered "high potential" within their organizations. Our 18-month, accelerated program is designed for executives and adapted to their work schedule. It combines the resources of Virginia Tech's Blacksburg campus with the convenience of location in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Part-time program in the National Capital Region

The National Capital Region Part-time MBA Program targets mid-level managers and professionals with potential for advancement within their organizations. It is specially designed for the needs of the full-time professional who is earning the MBA on a flexible schedule, part-time or expedited. Program completion typically takes between 2 – 3.5 years with classes meeting evenings and weekends.
