Biography
J. Lawrence French (Ph.D., Cornell University)
is associate professor of management. He joined the faculty in
the Fall 1987. He previously taught at Northeastern University, the
University of Texas at Arlington, and the University of Sao Paulo,
Brazil. He currently teaches courses in organizational behavior, international
management, and business negotiations. He has presented papers at regional
and national meetings and published in Industrial and Labor Relations
Review, Advances in International Comparative Management, Social Science
Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, Administration and
Society, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Labor
Research, and Business Ethics Quarterly. His current
research focuses on child labor in global industries.
