Biography

Felice Williams is a doctoral student who is native to Trinidad and Tobago. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, she pursued a degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the master’s level. Upon graduation, she joined DCI Consulting in Washington D.C., a Human Resources risk management firm, where she was a consultant. Felice is a member of the Academy of Management (AOM), as well as the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and has been a presenter at both of these international conferences. Felice teaches International Management and Human Resources Management in the Pamplin College of Business and her interests include conflict management, diversity, emotional intelligence, social networks, and turnover. Currently she is working on several projects which include examining the potential use of social networks as a hybrid mediational approach in organizations to address affective conflict. She is also studying diversity attitudes as it relates to emotional intelligence, and looking at how turnover models can be made to be more predictive of the phenomenon.
